Houses For Rent

We live in a beach community and many people rent their houses on a weekly or nightly basis.  A good place to check is www.vrbo.com

If you are looking online, check with us before you rent.  We’ll be able to tell if the house is close to our area and may be able to check it out before you rent it.  We live in Black Point Beach.  Other beaches nearby are Old Black Point, Attawan Beach, Crescent Beach and Oak Grove Beach.  All of these are within 5 minutes of our house and 15 minutes to the reception.  You may also find houses in Giant’s Neck.  The best houses are in Giant’s Neck Beach and not Giant’s Neck Heights.  This location is about 10 minutes from our house and 20 minutes to the reception. 

If your house requires cleaning before you leave, we can put you in touch with our cleaning lady if you like.

10 minutes from our house, 10 minutes to the reception.

The nicest place in town and for good reason.  Located right on the Niantic River (which leads to Long Island Sound) overlooking a large marina.  Nice common areas and outdoor patios overlooking the marina.  You can walk to the restaurants, shops and bars downtown.  There is a gym 2 blocks away.

Great views of the river and the bay.  Beautiful rooms, friendly people.  Includes breakfast buffet with hot item.  This is where we would stay if we didn’t live here!

Nothing on hold yet. Once we get a sense of what we need, we’ll get them on hold by Feb 15th.

The Niantic Inn

10 minutes from our house, 10 minutes to the reception.  

A clean, inexpensive hotel located right on Main Street.  Décor is dated, but the rooms are spotless and very large.  Each has a table and chairs, love seat and either kitchenette or refrigerator/microwave. 

We have blocked 13 rooms for Friday and Saturday.  Right now, there is a baseball team holding the rest on Saturday night.  If they cancel we’ll be able to add more.  There aren’t any connecting rooms available at this time.
